MTN Plans Mobile Banking For Clients

According to a report on financial Watch, MTN's new chief executive rob Shuter is planning to persuade its 200 million client to use their handsets to store money and p[ay bills.



 The report claims that MTN will be faced with increasing regulatory risk as authorities have step up efforts to combat illicit money transfers and they will be up against Safaricom which is 40 percent owned by Vodafone who is already a strong force in the mobile money business with its company M-pesa.
