Michael Bloomberg, The founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies has been listed by forbes as the the world's no 8 richest man. With a fortune of $44.6 billion the three terms Mayor of New York City is known to have been and still is generous with his wealth as he has over the years given so much to the society.
Bloomberg who was born in Boston Massachusetts paid his tuition at John Hopkins University by taking out loans and working as a parking lot attendant after which he proceeded to Havard Business School.
He is a lover of luxury cars and private jets and real estate, and he owns about 14 properties world wide.
He recently renovated his five-storey mansion on 79th Street at a cost of $1.7m (N340m).
