Despite his meeting with the labour union of the state, the Ekiti state gov. Ayodele Fayose was unable to convince the NLC to suspend the ongoing industrial action. The meeting which took place today was aimed at tackling the issues that led to the industrial action.
Responding to Journalist,the NLC chairman of Ekiti state Ramond Adesanmi said the proposal of the governor did not address the issues that led to the strike. Naij.com reports
"The governor listened to us and promised to get back to us. We are also goin to have our own meeting on Wednesday to review the situation, but the strike continues. It is either hree months salary or no talk"
